CAIRO: Two were reportedly injured after a bomb exploded Friday outside a movie theatre in Haram district, Giza, according to Youm7.
Civil Protection Department was notified of a “strange body” outside Cinema Radobis, but it went off before forces arrived.

An anonymous source at Giza Security Directorate told Youm7 that the bomb was planted while the police were busy dispersing protests by Muslim Brotherhood supporters following the Eid el-Fitr (Feast of Breaking the Fast) prayer early in the morning.

The source added that the bomb was planned to injure central security forces tasked with securing Haram Street. A bomb detonated in about the same locations outside Cinema Radobis in 2014.
Clashes erupted between security forces and pro-Brotherhood supporters resulting in the death of six protesters and four injured Friday.
