CAIRO: Video 7, Youm7’s Channel on YouTube, has been awarded the 24-Karat Gold Play Button for surpassing one million subscribers, Youm7 reported Saturday.
Video7 has joined the YouTube on Aug. 2, 2012. It has reached 1,057,657 subscribers for 66,887 videos that gained 284,380,480 views.

YouTube has three awards honored to its distinguished channels that reach a certain number of subscribers. The “Diamond Play Button”; awarded to the channels that surpass 10 million subscribers; “Gold Play Button” to channels passing the one million subscribers and the “Silver Play Button” for the 100,000-subscribers channels.
In 2014, RT International English news channel was awarded the Gold Play Button for 1.4 million subscribers, BBG Watch reported in December.
