CAIRO: Football players of the UK’s Hull City will observe a moment of silence ahead of their match against Huddersfield Town in mourning for late actor Omar Sharif, according to Hullcitytigers.com.
“The Club will be marking the passing of former goalkeeper Ian McKechnie and long-time supporter Omar Sharif at Saturday’s home game against Huddersfield Town.”
Today is the opening day of the new season of the Premiers League 2015-2016.
The match, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, will take place at the KC Stadium.
Sharif, who dies last month, was a supporter of Hull City after being introduced to the club by actor Sir Tom Courtenay in the 1960s.
