CAIRO: A committee will examine the handwriting of a high school student who received a zero in her exams, per an order from Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab Tuesday.
The Ministry was slammed after the student, Mariam Zaki, received a null score in all of her final exams of Thanawyia Amma (secondary education or high schools) that enable students to enter universities. The Minya-born student filed a suit against the ministry over her scores, saying her answer sheets were “forged” and the original ones were passed to another student. However, her case was rejected.
Mahlab called Mariam Tuesday and promised her to re-investigate her case and called her to meet with him, stated Cabinet spokesperson Houssam Qawish.
