CAIRO: A car bomb went off Monday near an Ophthalmology Hospital in Giza, outside an Islamist party headquarters, a resident told Youm7.
Former member of the Building and Development Party, Mohamed Tawfiq; an eyewitness to the bombing said “we were surprised by the sound of a huge explosion near the old headquarters of Gamaa Islamiyya.”
Tawfiq also told Youm7 that security forces had arrived at the blast site.
