CAIRO: Saudi Minister of State Essam bin Saad arrived in Egypt Sunday evening to meet with Egyptians officials to discuss mutual cooperation, Youm7 reported.
Egypt has begun negotiations with the Kingdom to receive oil and financial aid worth $3 billion, part of which are grants promised by Saudi Arabia during the Egypt Economic Development Conference in March, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm.
AP quoted anonymous diplomats on Aug. 25 who said King Salman would visit Egypt after his latest visit to the U.S., but Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir denied the news in a news conference in Washington.
Jubeir said that the King was invited to Cairo, but the visit has not been scheduled yet.
