CAIRO: Egypt Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry flew Tuesday to London to hold bilateral discussions, after visiting Paris where hundreds of Egyptian artifacts are exhibited, state-owned news agency MENA reported Tuesday.
The one-day visit focuses on enhancing bilateral relations and discussing international and regional issues of mutual concerns, particularly of Libya, Iraq, Yemen, and terrorism.
Shokry will meet his British counterpart Philip Hammond and British Minister for the Middle East and North Africa Tobias Ellwood, and the UK National Security advisor.
Seven days ago, a British security delegation visited South Sinai to witness the level of security services, inspecting fixed, mobile and secretive checkpoints, and explosives-detection devices to be sure of security and safety for British tourists, Youm7 reported.
The Foreign Minister paid Paris a two-day visit to attend the inauguration of Osiris, Egypt’s Sunken Mysteries exhibition.
