CAIRO: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled in Cairo Wednesday to meet President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi per the latter’s invitation, Youm7 reported Wednesday.
The Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Gamal al-Shobky announced that the bilateral meeting will discuss the latest developments regarding the Palestinian crisis, Wafa News Agency reported Tuesday.
AP reported in early September that Abbas is expected to step down from his post over frustrations of lack of progress toward a Palestinian state.
