CAIRO: SODIC won Cityscape’s Built Mixed Use Project Award for Real Estate in Egypt for the year 2015.
The company took the top prize in the built mixed use project category for SODIC West, the company’s flagship mixed-use development built over six million sqm of land in the heart of Sheikh Zayed. With six neighbourhoods and a projected population of 40,000, SODIC West has been meticulously planned to bring together the fundamentals of residential, social and commercial life in a modern gated community that values safety and quality where people can live, work and play.
SODIC has received several awards in recent years for projects within SODIC West, including the Euromoney Best Office-Business Developer in Egypt in 2014 for The Polygon and two Cityscape Awards for The Polygon and Allegria in 2013.
SODIC West offers a wide range of residential units overlooking the award-winning Greg Norman signature golf course. Commercial and retail space ranges from single offices to entire buildings at The Polygon Business Park, whilst entertainment venues like Westown Hub and The Strip provide cafes, restaurants and various services and retail offerings. The Cityscape Awards recognise outstanding projects in Egypt’s real estate industry. Numerous nominations were received, from which 23 projects were shortlisted by a panel of expert judges.
