CAIRO: The Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou honored Tuesday the Chairman of the Foreign Press Association (FPA) in Egypt Volkhard Windfuhr in appreciation to his efforts for 60 years of work in the country.
During their meeting, Windfuhr received a commemorative gift from the minister.
Also, a program set for the German writer and publisher Stefan Aust’s visit to Egypt was displayed.
Aust is planning to film at different tourist and archeological sites and attractions in Egypt for his piece called “Nile Project,” according to Youm7.
Shooting will take place in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Alexandria, Rosetta, Damietta, and Wadi el-Natroun. The film discusses the impact of the Nile River on life and the tourism potential in these areas.
