CAIRO: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) posted on a moderate slip Thursday, hurt by local institutions’ sales.
Egypt’s benchmark index EGX30 ended 0.3 percent down to hit at 7,311 points, compared to7,333 points on Wednesday.
Similarly, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 decreased 0.2 percent to end at 387.6 points, compared to 388.4 points in its last session.
Meanwhile, the broader index EGX100 also declined 0.64 percent to close at 839.2 points, after 844.6 points Wednesday.
Market capitalization shed around 7.2 billion EGP ($919.76 million,) totaling 441.5 billion EGP, compared to 448.7 billion EGP in the previous session.
