CAIRO: Flights between Cairo Airport and Tunis-Carthage Airport will resume Saturday after a halt of three days due to maintenance works.
The runway of the Tunisian airport is being upgraded, which Tunisia informed the Cairo Airport authorities about over a month ago, Youm7 quoted Ghada al Khatib, head of Egypt Air branch in Tunis.
Cairo Airport flies one plane to Tunis and back every day.
Some of the flights of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday have been delayed and some have been redirected to Monastir Airport in Tunisia, Khatib said.
