CAIRO: Seven children number among the total 32 Palestinians killed in unfolding violence in October, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced Wednesday.
In Jerusalem, 21 Palestinians were killed, including five children. Eleven others were killed in the Gaza strip, including two children and their mother, according to the statement.
More than 200 Palestinian children and 40 women have been injured in the clashes since October, as part of 1,300 Palestinians injured in the month. Of those injured, 550 were affected by live fire and 600 by rubber bullets.
On Wednesday, three Palestinians were injured by live fire, with five by rubber bullets in the West Bank and three in Gaza were injured by bullets.
Seven Israelis have been killed in the violence in the past two weeks in ways that include stabbings, according to Reuters.
The turmoil began unfolding after the Israeli police raided the Aqsa Mosque complex in September, as Palestinians believe Israel plans to take over the entire complex.
