CAIRO: After being closed for around two years, Sadat Metro Station will re-operate Wednesday morning at 6:00, announced Minister of Transportation Hani Dhahi Tuesday.
Dahi’s statements came following a ministerial meeting; he added that the reopening was approved by security bodies.
Since the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi by the military in July 2013, the station, located beneath the iconic Tharir Square, was closed due to “security reasons.”
