CAIRO: Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir is expected to visit Cairo this week for talks on various regional and international issues, well-informed source told Youm7 Saturday.
During the visit, expected to take place within the upcoming 48 hours, Jubeir will meet with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry along with Egyptian high-profile officials to discuss ways of enhancing economic and political ties between the two countries.
The meeting will also tackle consultations and coordination on important regional issues including the crisis in Syria, Libya and Yemen and the international efforts in this regard.
The visit is Jubeir’s first to Cairo since he was appointed foreign minister by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdelaziz on April 29, 2015.
