CAIRO: Kuwaiti Interior Minister has charged a national of the murder of an Egyptian expatriate in Kuwaiti city of Howally Saturday, according to a Monday statement from the ministry.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeidtold al-Hayat talk show Sunday evening that the investigations revealed that the killing was “deliberate.”
The Egyptian was killed and two others, including a Kuwaiti, were injured when the accused Kuwaiti citizen hit them with a car outside a mall after a quarrel, Kuwaiti al-Watan newspaper reported Sunday.
The violent quarrel broke out Saturday evening in a mall in Hawally between four Egyptians and 15 Kuwaitis; two Kuwaitis followed the Egyptian group outside the mall and hit them with their car, killing one Egyptian by running him over, and the other three Egyptians were transported to a hospital and suffered severe injuries.
