CAIRO: The trial of former Agriculture Minister Salah Hilal on charges of accepting bribes has been set for Dec. 12.
Hilal was arrested in early September hours after submitting his resignation to President Sisi.
The Minister and three others accused, including the alleged briber, face charges of requesting and taking bribes for facilitating the sale of 2,500 acres in Wadi al-Natroun city in Delta’s Beheira Governorate, according to a statement from the National Security Prosecution.
