CAIRO: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will be awarded the honorary doctorate by Corvinus University in Budapest Friday, Youm7 reported.
Sisi has arrived in the Hungarian Capital Budapest Thursday evening at an invitation from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
Sisi’s trip to Hungary followed his 2-day visit to Germany, where he met with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and discussed bilateral cooperation.
During the visit, Sisi will meet with Orban to discuss ways of promoting bilateral cooperation in the presence of the delegations of the two countries, according to the Egyptian State Information Service (SIS.)
The meeting will be followed by a joint press conference and an interview with the Hungarian TV respectively.
“During the meeting, a number of security agreements will be signed between Hungary and Egypt,” Youm7 said.
Sisi will also attend the opening of the Egyptian-Hungarian Business Forum and will give a speech on the successful models of cooperation between the two countries and the importance of boosting trade exchange between them.
