CAIRO: Egyptian Meteorological Authority expects a notable increase in temperature off the northern coast and Cairo Monday, Youm7 reported Sunday.
According to the authority, Cairo is expected to see 39 degrees Celsius during the day and 23 at night.
Aswan, located in the extreme south of Egypt, will see high temperature reaching 46 during the day; South Sinai’s resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh will see 40 degrees, while temperature in Alexandria is expected to reach 31 during the day.
Egypt was hit by a scorching heat wave temperature degrees reaching 44 °C on May 27. The temperature relented during the past week returning back to normal degrees.
During the past month, Egypt has been witnessing temperature variation.
